A 15-year-old boy was arrested and presented before the Juvenile Justice Board on Wednesday for allegedly raping a three-and-a-half-year-old girl in Haryana's Hisar district.
The incident took place on Tuesday when the victim was alone at home and the accused neighbour allegedly raped her.
When the parents of the victim returned home they found the girl in the pool of blood.
The parents soon approached the police and filed an FIR regarding the matter following which the accused was arrested.
Meanwhile, Hisar's Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jitender Kumar said, "The accused was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board today. Her parents work as labourers and were not around when the incident took place".

Last week two minor Dalit girls were allegedly raped and killed in separate incidents in Haryana, barely a month after a similar case involving a six-year-old girl shook the state.
In the first incident, a 15-year-old school student was brutally assaulted and her private parts were mutilated. "The minor's liver was also ruptured using blunt tools," the reports said.
In the second incident, an 11-year-old girl's half-naked body was found in a village in Panipat district. The reports say that the girl was abducted first and then raped and murdered. The accused had also inserted a wooden rod inside the girl's private part which damaged her intestine, the reports added.
