The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) team on Thursday seized expired packets of buns and pizza bases from a McDonalds' and a Domino's outlet in Raipur's Magneto Mall.
According to the sources, most of the pizza bases and other food products found in the kitchen were expired. The team also investigated other outlets of the fast-food chain Domino's and McDonalds and have seized all the expired products for lab test.
They also seized samples of sauce from a KFC outlet, when they raided the outlets.
"The samples have been sent to the food testing laboratory," said an official.
The officials also confirmed that further action will be initiated after the report comes.
