Farmers from Mandola village in Loni area met Housing Commissioner Ajay Chauhan here over compensation for their agricultural lands which were acquired by the Avas Vikas Parishad for a group housing scheme.
District Magistrate Ritu Maheswari said a delegation of farmers asked for the rates to be revised. Chauhan directed officials of the Avas Vikas Parishad to identify the lands which were allotted to lease holders in 1984.
