Mr Amanullah Khan, Chairman, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has saidthat rejection of nomination papers of JKLF Candidates for the so-called 'AzadKashmir' Assembly on political and ideological grounds and arrest and mental andphysical torture of hundreds of JKLF members including a number of candidates,senior office bearers and active workers was a very big black spot on the faceof the so-called fair and free elections in the so called Azad Kashmir.

He was commenting on Azad Kashmir elections after his release from internmentat Mirpur, Azad Kashmir. The JKLF chief said that the ideology of reunificationand complete independence of Jammu Kashmir state was now too strong and toopopular to be ignored and by-passed and only blind people could do so.

He said that the government of Pakistan and the new government to be formedsoon in Azad Kashmir would have to bring about drastic changes in their policiesabout Kashmir issue and all matters related to it, mainly about the concept ofre-unification and complete independence of entire Jammu Kashmir or both wouldhave to face insurmountable hurdles in the way leading to an equitable solutionof Kashmir ssue based on the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people.

Mr Amanullah Khan demanded immediate and unconditional release of hundreds ofJKLF members who are behind bars in different prisons of Azad Kashmir, some ofthem for the last one month.
