Honda Begins Deliveries Of BS6-Compliant Activa 125

• The 2019 Activa 125 is the first BS6-compliant scooter in India.

• It was launched early last month.

• Customers can book the scooter for a token amount of Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000.

Honda is the first manufacturer to launch a BS6-compliant scooter this year in the form of the 2019 Activa 125. Booking for the scooter commenced at the launch event itself, however, deliveries were expected to begin in a month. Customers would be pleased to note that Honda has kept its end of the bargain and initiated deliveries of the scooter across India.

Interested customers can still book the scooter for a token amount ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 depending on the dealership.

The BS6-compliant Activa 125 features a fuel-injected motor that’s less powerful than the previous iteration but 13 per cent more fuel efficient according to Honda. It features an LED headlamp, a revised semi-digital instrument console, an external fuel-filler cap, side stand engine immobiliser and idle start-stop system.

Starting the festivities on a grand note, the keys of BSVI Activa 125 were handed over to its first customer, Mr. Ankur Arora in New Delhi.

Launched this month, Activa 125 BSVI is available in three variants (Standard, Alloy and Deluxe) and 4 colors (Rebel Red Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Heavy Grey Metallic & Pearl Precious White). Priced attractively, the revolutionary first BSVI two-wheeler is available from Rs. 67,490 (Standard). The other two variants Alloy & Deluxe are priced at Rs. 70,990 & Rs. 74,490 respectively. As another industry first, Honda is also offering a special 6-year warranty package (3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty) on Activa 125 BSVI.
