Medium pacer Meghna Singh (1/6) accounted for one batter. Baring Nannapat Koncharoenkai (12), none of the Thailand batters could reach double figures as wickets fell in regular intervals. In fact, Nannapat and Natthakan Chantham's (6) 13-run opening stand was their highest.

Bangladesh play their final round-robin game against United Arab Emirates on Tuesday and if they manage to win by a healthy margin, the hosts would pip Thailand for the final semis spot on net run-rate. Thailand are having −0.949 NRR compared to Bangladesh’s 0.423.

“A big shout out to all girls for making my 100th T20 International special,” stand-in skipper Mandhana said after the match. “I wouldn't say weaker opposition and Thailand played good cricket but our bowlers really didn't give them any chance,” Mandhana was all praise for her bowling unit.
