Indian opener Shubman Gill smashed a blistering maiden T20I century as the Men In Blue recorded a massive 168 runs victory over the Kiwis in the third T20 International to pocket the hard-fought series 2-1 on Wednesday. (More Cricket news)
Gill continued his fine form and showcased his array of shots, hitting the New Zealand bowlers to all parts of the Narendra Modi Stadium to score 126 not out off just 63 balls with the help of 12 fours and seven sixes.
It is the highest individual score for an Indian in T20 internationals, beating Virat Kohli's unbeaten 122 against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup.
Here's how Twitter reacted to Shubman Gill's magnificent knock against the Kiwis at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The best part about Gill's batting is how many good balls he hits for 4s & 6s. Batting like a dream. Congratulations on maiden T20I ton @ShubmanGill 👏🏽 #INDvNZ pic.twitter.com/h7NlnusbUB

So happy to see Shubman Gill reeling out centuries. Being a cross format batter is so hard. I hope he gets the patience his obvious talent deserves.

Shubman Gill shows T20 isn't about just unconventional and pre-meditated shots. Correct cricket never goes out of fashion. #Gill
