Mexico had more possession but lacked the bite whereas the Polish team had very little to show when going forward. In the second half, Poland pushed and applied pressure and in the 55th minute, the Poles won a penalty after VAR review as Robert Lewandowski went down in the box. The Barcelona forward failed to convert from the 12 yard spot as the game remained goalless. The score line remained the same after 90 minutes as both sides were not able to cause damage in the final third.
