Spain U-17 Women won the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, defeating Colombia U-17 Women at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Mumbai. Ana Maria Guzman Zapata’s own goal gave Spain the lead in the 82nd minute of the game, which eventually proved to be the only goal of the match as the Spaniards defended their title after winning it in 2018. Spain took a 1-0 lead but the goal was disallowed by VAR as Cristina had touched the ball with her hand.
