Since arriving in England, the Norwegian striker has stunned every critic with his performance, breaking records and setting new ones.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, the 22-year-old forward vowed to deliver more for his club. Haaland already broke a record by becoming the quickest player to reach 20 Premier League goals.

After scoring his 21st goal against Everton on Saturday, Haaland broke the record for scoring the most number of goals before the turn of the year in a single top-flight season in England. Not to forget, he missed a month of action due to the FIFA World Cup break.

Welcoming 2023, the City striker wrote on Twitter, "Hey guys, big year behind me, lots of changes, but, most importantly, changes for the best. Thanks for all the love along the way and let's stick together in 2023. As I always say, more to come!"

Despite scoring a goal against Everton, the result did not go Haaland's way as Manchester City conceded a goal in the second half never to score again. The 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium meant that they are now 7 points behind league leaders Arsenal.

Manchester City will next face Chelsea in an away match at Stamford Bridge on January 5.
