Skipper Virat Kohli led from the front with a brilliant century to guide India a comfortable 59-run win (DLS) over West Indies in the second ODI at Port of Spain on Sunday (August 11).

Shreyas Iyer supported Kohli, hitting his third half-century as India posted 279/7. Iyer's 71 was studded with five boundaries and a six.

In reply, Chris Gayle, playing his 300th ODI, failed to provide the Windies a fine start as he fell for 11(24).

After rain interrupted the proceedings multiple times, the hosts were set a revised target of 270 in 46 overs.

In pursuit, the Windies were on course at 148/4 before they lost their last six wickets for 62 runs to be bowled out for 210 in 42 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (4/31) was pick of the bowlers for India.
