11 MayAndhra Congress leader Y S Rajasekhara Reddy greet his supporters at the party headqaurters in Hyderabad after Congress led alliance won a landslide majority bagging 226 seats in the 294 member house, ending the 9 year TDP rule. Reddy was later unanimously elected the leader of the Congress Legeslative party and was sworn in the Chief Minister on 15th May. The Congress ally Telengana Rashtriya Samiti decided not to join the government and said it would do so only when Parliament passes a resolution for creation of a seperate state of Telengana.
