Rounders With The Ladies Few folk dances are easier on the eye and tougher to perform (a whirligig of timed clicks of sticks) than Dandiya; few afford such photo-ops for celebrities. IPL owner and sometime actress Preity Zinta wasn't going to let one go at a Mumbai Garba.

Subdued Ms Sobersides Perhaps it’s a measure of the ‘killjoyous’ sobriety in Na-Mo’s Gandhinagar that the vivacious Preity Zinta makes for an atypically effete picture on her trip across the Sabarmati. Two hours under a hawkish sightline has the same effect.

Ah, so they are reduced to this after spending crores on buying up Cricketers? Or perhaps this is just to ensure ticket sales. The photo shows actress Preity Zinta and cricketer Brett Lee selling IPL match tickets to young cricket lovers at PCA stadium Mohali. Meanwhile, the BCCI came out with one more howler which led to the media collectively threatening to boycott IPL Twenty20 completely. In the end, the man in charge, Lalit Modi, moved in to clarify that the restrictive media guidelines about the usage of still images from the IPL series by news organisations and their websites had been dropped. So far so good...
