Aug 23, 2008
Meanwhile, in the USA, the Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama D-Ill., ended the suspense over his vice-presidential running mate when he announced the name of Sen. Joe Biden D-Del. The photo shows them kissing each other's wives at a campaign stop in Springfield, Ill. Obama introduced Biden as his running mate at the event. The Democratic party convention later saw and heard an emotional and passionate speech from Michelle Obama (on Aug 25) while sceptics carped over whether or not Hillary Clinton could have been more direct in her support on Aug 26. There is a big chunk of Hillary Supporters who are running a campaign called, PUMA -- Party Unity, My A**.  As we write, the two are set to be approved for the November elections at the convention. Watch this space.
