The ultimate outdoor experience

Best Experienced By : Cousins who know how to notch up the fun together.

Maharashtra is blessed with nature’s bounty. And it is even more partial to those who like the sea, as it offers a long coastline to explore. This is perfect for a road journey in Maruti Suzuki Alto, for those who are enamoured by the ebbing waves and bright sunny days. On this trip, you get to wheel along from Pune, to the dream-like views of Harihareshwar, and then go on to explore Ganpati Pule and Tarkarli. Water sports (snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing and more) in the day for some adrenaline pumping action with orange sky sunsets to unwind in the evening, add to the charm of Maharashtra.

Day 1:

We kick-start the journey from Pune, along the curves of the steel grey roads, stopping only at dhabas for chai breaks and food. The last stop on this day is Harihareshwar, where we notch up the fun with para sailing.

Day 2:

We start the day early with a stroll on the beach. Then we take the ferry to cross over to Anjanavel and Guhagar villages, to explore the village and the namesake fort. We will be driving through quaint fishing villages where we can stop en route and interact with the locals and taste some local cuisine.

Day 3:

Before the beach is sun-blasted, a walk in the small hours of the morning is recommended. If you’re a photo-buff, this is a great place for sunrises. Later, we drive to Tarkarli, where the day will be full of water sports - snorkeling, scuba diving and jet skiing. After this high-energy time, it’s time to visit Sindhudurg, a longstanding bastion on the coast.

Day 4:

We start the day early and spend some quiet moments at the Tarkarli Beach. Post this we have breakfast and start our journey back to Pune.

Detailed itineraries will be shared closer to the trip date.
