Sterling Holiday Resorts Launch Sterling Picnics Package

With schools and offices reopening, travellers are looking for short duration vacations and day outings. Keeping this in mind, a popular leisure holiday brand has introduced a package where families or groups of friends can visit their resort for a day’s outing.

Through ‘Sterling Picnics’, Sterling Holiday Resorts are opening up their select properties – located in scenic areas and surrounded by greenery – which are easily accessible from major towns and cities, say within two hours’ drive. Many of the resorts also offer adventure activities.

Sterling Nature Trails resorts located near Mumbai and Pune are already open for the picnic package. Other resorts include Sterling Resorts at Anaikatti, Ooty – Fern Hill, Wayanad, Alleppey, Palavelli Godavari, Goa – Varca, Mount Abu, Lonavala, Nature Trails resorts at Durshet – Khopoli, Kundalika – Kolad, Sajan – Vikramgad, Puri, and Jaipur – Atharva.

Guests will be offered a food and beverage package (a welcome drink, lunch and evening tea and snacks), complimentary use of indoor and outdoor game facilities from morning to evening, access to resort facilities like swimming pool, spa, Discovery Central – the holiday activities center, gym, etc. Guests may avail a room at the resort for a maximum of three hours post-lunch, subject to availability and at an extra cost.

Ramesh Ramanathan, Chairman and Managing Director of Sterling Holiday Resorts said, “People are looking for alternate options to get out of the city and de-stress without a hotel stay. We are happy to provide them with a safe location and a shorter alternative to a holiday at a drive-to location.”

Customers can avail this package at an inaugural price starting from Rs 999 (plus tax) per adult; children between 5 and 12 years will be charged Rs 499 (plus tax) per child.
