The order is applicable from April 27 midnight to May 10.
Every person coming to the state would have to register on covidepass.hp.gov.in
. After registration, a QR code would be generated that would be scanned at borders.
People coming from Covid hotspots will have to produce an RT-PCR test negative report to enter the state.
Visitors to the state also have an option to generate a monthly pass on the e-portal.
Himachal residents will also have to register every time they enter or leave the state.
In a directive that may come as a relief to those in tourism, the government has raised the mandatory COVID-19 negative report for tourists to 96 hours from 72 hours. Children below 10 years have been exempted from this.
The mandatory five-day hotel booking for tourists too has been reduced to two days.
