Airlines Waive Rescheduling Fees Amidst Pandemic

IndiGo, Air Asia, and SpiceJet have announced they'll allow free rescheduling of flights amidst the pandemic. The offer is a one-time waiver, considering ever-changing travel guidelines

Change in air travel plans? No worries, for you can now make unlimited changes in the date and time of your air ticketswithout paying any extra fees.

With more travel restrictions being imposed around the world and increasing uncertainty around travel plans, several airlines including IndiGo, Air Asia and SpiceJet have said they'll allow free rescheduling of flights.

AirAsia has announced they will not charge any fee for changing time and date on tickets booked till May 15.

IndiGo has stated there no will be no charge on rescheduling of domestic flights booked between April 17 and 30.

SpiceJet has said they will allow flyers to make changes in their travel dates and time from April 17 to May 10.

Under this zero-fee offer, tickets can be booked between this duration for any travel period. It is to be noted that the offer is a one-time waiver considering the ever-changing travel guidelines. 

The ‘zero fees’ offer which was applicable only for changes done at least seven days prior has now been extended to make changes five days prior to boarding the flight.

The airline firms also made it clear that there will be no change in the cancellation fee policy and flight tickets cancelled will be chargeable.
