Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is all set to inaugurate a revamped and refurbished Chandni Chowk on April 17.

This historic market stretch in old Delhi received a makeover recently, and its entire stretch has been enhanced with green zones. On either side of the road a wide pavement of around 5 to 10 metres has been built for non-motorised vehicles. Also, a 2.5 metre-long footpath has been constructed on either side of the road. Senior citizens can avail of electric vehicles to move around.

The revamped stretch, which runs from Red Fort to Fatehpuri Mosque, will remain a non-motorised zone from 9am to 9pm
