Among the top criteria for choosing places to stay in and work from (according to Airbnb searches) are strong Internet connectivity, hygiene, properties closer to nature, and offbeat destinations.
Airbnb’s data shows that over 20 per cent of all searches within the last three-month period in India have been for long-term stays (more than 28 nights) at one particular property. This shows that with access to technology, and with companies shifting to remote work mode, people are willing to relocate to new accommodation for months at a time.
