Madhya Pradesh's Tourism Board is laying out the red carpet for digital nomads who want to take a much-deserved break from the stress of work from home under lockdown. The state has launched innovative workcation packages with a unique twist. Your new office can be in the middle of a jungle.
The state's Tourism Development Corporation has identified five properties including the White Tiger Forest Lodge in Bandhavgarh, Bison Retreat in Satpura National Park, Kipling’s Court in Pench National Park, Champak Bungalow in Pachmarhi, and Sailani Island in Omkareshwar.
A few more properties will be developed on the same theme and opened for bookings later.
All the facilities come equipped with medical and first-aid facilities, high-speed internet connectivity, power back-up, fresh and healthy food, and room service. All essential protocols with regards to hygiene, safety, and sanitisation will be strictly followed.
These workcations are part of the first phase of a project to revive the severely hit tourism industry of the state.
