Don't know how to set up your bedroom, study or workspace? Tired of curating Pinterest boards without ever trying the real deal? The India Design ID 2020 is for you. Scheduled from February 13 to 16, 2020 at Okhla NSIC, the luxe design and decor festival is the perfect playground for students, architects, influencers and enthusiasts to enjoy stellar design inspo under one roof. The eighth edition of the event, the festival will see more than 135 exhibitors regale visitors with creative showcases and launches.

The three-day event will have a headliners avenue called Symposium, where visitors can learn from the likes of Sebastian Herkner (Maison&Objet Designer of the Year), Timothy Corrigan (famous for his Hollywood Homes), interior & product designer Rosanna Orlandi, and artist Stuart Semple, beloved in the underground art world for his feud about accessible art with sculptor Anish Kapoor. If you're not aware of their notorious rivalry, look up the story behind Vantablack and World's Pinkest Pink.

For homegrown speakers at the event, look forward to talks by Rahul Mehrotra (famous for restoring Hyderabad's Chowmahalla Palace), textile curator Malvika Singh and Instagram sensation Sarah Sham.

When at the event, also watch out for:

>ID Honours, which will celebrate 50 cutting-edge, one-of-a-kind homes and their creators. The ceremony will be held at Bikaner House on the 14th, but you can view a special showcase by architect Rooshad Shroff at the festival.

>ID Design Co, where 20 famous architects and designers will fashion outdoor installations. It's all your heroes coming in to create a veritable Sistine Chapel of good design.

>What’s your story, which will display approximately 30 objects from India and the distinct design consciousness behind them.
Their stories will cover elements like conscious consumption, whimsy, nostalgia, and of course, functionality.

The facade for each pavilion of India Design ID 2020 will be revamped by British Royal Designer Morag Myerscough. Emphasising on sustainability, the flexes for each pavilion will be recycled after the exhibit.

Another bit of excitement? Flurys, the iconic Kolkata tearoom, will make its Delhi debut at a pop-up restaurant inside the NSIC grounds. Modelled after the roaring 20s, the stall will channel vintage glamour and excess to introduce the legendary joint to the National Capital Region.
