Looking forward to engage in and know more about India’s culturally abundant heritage? Reth 2020 is your answer. Wondering what it is? Reth 2020 is an immersive experience for individuals looking forward to engage in creativity, celebration, music, and architecture. The festival is happening this January in the heart of the Thar Desert in Jaisalmer.

Right from art exhibitions to immersive workshops to Sufi at the dunes, they’ve got you covered. The 4-day-long residential event begins on January 29, 2020 and has Narayan Niwas Palace and Nachana Haveli as the venue, however not limited to those.

The activities lined up at the event include curated fort walks, film screenings, folk music concerts, workshops as well as Manganiyar at the Gadisar lake.

The workshops being organised range from ancient crafts to contemporary media and design. The workshops include sand animation, portrait drawing, block printing and natural dyes, Mughal miniature painting amongst the others. The inspiration you ask? The fort city of Jaisalmer!

What more you ask? An opportunity to indulge in lip smacking food is also one thing you shouldn’t miss out on. You can get more information and tickets here.
