Feature films, spinoff films, television series, video games and a plethora of fan fiction dedicated to the Star Wars universe. Could we have asked for more? Well, dear fans, we have news for you. 

In 2021, you can actually stay at a Star Wars themed hotel! And that it will be oozing luxury makes it all the more exciting.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, a themed luxury hotel, is being built near Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Scheduled to open in 2021, fans can expect an all-new intergalactic adventure. The immersive experience will include a two-night cruise style itinerary and 24/7 Star Wars storytelling. It is expected that Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser will give visitors an opportunity to create their own Star Wars adventure at the Walt Disney Resort in Florida.

Guests will be welcomed through a special launch pad which will make it look as if you’re travelling through space. Visitors will be whisked aboard ‘The Halcyon’, a massive spaceship, where they can dine, sleep and participate in activities like lightsaber training. At the Atrium, guests will also get a chance to meet some of their favourite characters (please let there be Han Solo!). The luxurious stay will also include a direct transportation to Batuu, the park’s themed area.
