Classic 80s sneakers, Reebok Club C and Classic Leather have been street favourites thanks to their simplistic yet versatile look. For their new Overbranded pack (the latest iteration of their “Respect the Icons” platform) , the brand has given these iconic shoes a bold upgrade with large logo applications, turning the minimalist product into a statement piece.
The men’s shoes are now printed with a vivid red and blue logo across the stark white upper, complete with gum soles. On the other hand, the women’s version feature an easily adaptable black and rosette colour logo with an all-white outsole.
“The Overbranded pack gives the universal silhouettes, the Club C and Classic Leather, an iconic new look. It’s not only a celebration of the icons, but an expression of timeless fashion,” said Brand Director Sunil Gupta, giving an insight into the new launch.
The new collection pays homage to the classic looks delivered by Reebok by adding a fresh element of change to the same. Inspired by bedroom walls adorned with posters and poster-crowded walls at gig venues, bars and clubs, the campaign adds an in-your-face brand logo to the design while still maintaining the limelight the iconic kicks.
