Here's a good news for all of you planning a holiday in Italy. VFS Global has been re-awarded the contract to provide Italy visa services in six countries including India, Ivory Coast, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and the United Kingdom. And not just that, the Italy visa service was also awarded to three other countries--Ethiopia, Iraq and South Africa. Currently there are 14 Italy Visa Application Centres operational across India and in total, visa application drop-boxes in 28 locations. This drop-box facility will exempt Italy visa applicants from biometric submissions, submitting their application without the need for an appointment at the centre. This move is definitely going to make the Italy visa process as comfortable and convenient for the applicants as possible. From just six Italy Visa Application Centres in India in 2004 when it first began its operations, we now have fourteen centres.
