Dazzling souks, fresh sea air and now, the Oman Aquarium. Opened as a part of the Mall of Muscat on April 15, 2019, it is the largest aquarium in the Middle East. The recently opened attraction boasts over 50 exhibits featuring 30,000 creatures, including a variety of Omani marine life, like local sharks, fish and octopuses (there are crocodiles and penguins here too).

The main tank has a demi-tunnel running through it, allowing visitors an up-close and personal look at the creatures inside; a sight that will remind them that they’re a part of a larger-than-life experience.

The ticket price is OMR 8.5 for adults and OMR 6.5 for children. Find out more here

The opening hours during Ramadan are 10am to 4pm and 9pm to 1am.
