It’s easy to love Thailand. The beautiful beaches, infectious city energy and succulent food often draw Indians to this Asian country. But what makes a trip to Thailand even more of a delight to plan is the easy visa. Thailand offers a visa-on arrival for several countries, including India. Recently, the Thai Immigration Bureau has introduced an eVisa on arrival at Thai airports, to make the process even more convenient.

The fast-entry online visa system has been introduced for 20 nations at a few Thai airports. As per their announcement, “E-visa on arrival (E-VOA) system is expected to cut visa-processing time to as little as one minute.”

The newly introduced system works like this: one can fill the online visa form online and make the visa payment online as well. The application can then get pre-approved by the Immigration Bureau of Thailand, saving you a lot of time at the Immigration checkpoint at the airport in Thailand.

The Thai airports for which the e-visa on arrival facility is valid including the Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Don Mueang Airport International Airport, Phuket International Airport, Chiang Mai International Airport, and Krabi International Airport.

So who all get to apply for an e-visa on arrival? Of the twenty countries and one territory that are on the list, a few are India, China, Bhutan, Maldives, Mauritius, Saudi Arabia, among others.
