There’s rather good news for beach bums in India. Domestic carrier GoAir has launched its first direct International flight to Phuket on October 11, making flying to the Thai destination a piece of (pretty affordable) cake. The low-cost airline, which launched in 2005, has so far operated only in India in 23 domestic cities. With the launch of its operations to Phuket from both cities of Mumbai and Delhi, it will foray into the international market. The introductory return flight fare would be from 18,999. The proposed flight time is 4 hours, 45 minutes from Delhi to Phuket and 4 hours, 30 minutes from Mumbai to Phuket.

That isn’t all! In addition, as per reports, GoAir will soon also launch its second International flight to Malé in Maldives, starting October 14, 2018. Similar to the flight to Phuket, this will be a direct flight operating from both Mumbai and Delhi, as of now. The flying time from Mumbai to Malé is 2 hours, 55 minutes and from Delhi to Malé is 4 hours, 5 minutes.

Phuket is known for its beautiful beaches and its status as a party town, making it an ideal holiday destination for someone who wants the best of both worlds. Malé, on the other hand, is the smallest national capital in the world and has beaches, seafood restaurants and culture always around the corner.
