Malaysian airline Malindo Air will be introducing new flights between Kuala Lumpur and Kolkata from 22 October 2018. The plane is scheduled to fly 5 times weekly with the promotional fare on offer for both Economy and Business classes one way from the Malaysian capital. The inaugural flight is scheduled to start in time for India‘s year-end peak travel period. Flights will offer 25kg baggage allowance for Economy Class and 40kg for Business Class, meal onboard and spacious legroom.
Bookings can be made on the official website www.malindoair.com or in ticketing offices, through customer care centre and preferred travel agents.
With the 5 weekly flights, Malindo Air hopes to increase travellers’ traffic for both business and leisure between these two cities. With an aspiration to not only to fly direct point-to-point traffic but also to carry connecting passengers beyond Kuala Lumpur to various destinations on their network ranging from ASEAN to Australia, the airline is optimistic about this route and anticipates more frequent flights in the future.
Kolkata, the city of Joy, is widely regarded as the cultural capital of India and travellers can look forward to exploring its intricate ancient and modern architecture, a myriad of Bengali delicacies, and a budget-friendly trip.
