Over the past couple of years Ireland has been on our bucket list for two reasons. First, to witness countryside magic while retaining the flavour of Great Britain and secondly, experiencing all the locations where our favourite shows have been shot. Nothing gets better than this vacation combined with a stay at a castle. This 13th century castle can accommodate about 12 people and is situated by the Lough Corrib Lake, which can be accessed by a boat. This fortified, medieval accommodation is ideal for your next secluded getaway.

Chareau le Cruguil dates back to the 14th century. A French garden assembled with the interiors that give a contemporary comfortable outlook, the property lies in close proximity to the sea. Extensions were carried out in the 17th and 19th centuries. The property can accommodate 15 people and comes with a private garden as well. What more you ask? A pool on the property makes it all even better.

Castle Wasserburg, Austria
This serene getaway castle is located a short distance from Vienna and the Danube landscape of Wachau. The surroundings are known for its vineyards, monastery, castles and small old villages, perfect for sightseeing tours. If deep-set fireplaces paving way to long halfways excite you then this might just be the place for you. Done artistically and intrinsically with a taste of British architecture, this castle can accommodate atleast 20 people.

This Art Nouveau-style castle with a private pool transports you back to the 19th century. Larger than life living rooms, extending to balconies with panoramic views, and a room with a view of the Mount Etna is what’s all in store for you if you head here. Sicily has already wooed hearts because of its breathtaking landscapes and beautiful streets and cafes. A night at Castello Claves is only going to make this experience an unbelievable one.
