Italy is opening up its borders for travellers just in time for summer travel. From breathtaking sunsets on the Amalfi coast to the rich historical legacy of Venice, an Italian vacation is a surreal dream. Restaurants, bars, and cafes have gradually reopened after over two months of a nationwide lockdown in the wake of COVID-19. However, they are still subject to social-distancing measures. If you are hoping to take Italy off your bucket list, here is what you should not miss out on:

Southern Italy's most beautiful cliffside village Positano at the famous Amalfi coast
Amalfi is home to the best Mediterranean pebble beach front, with narrow, lively streets. One can also find dreamy quaint cafes lined up serving the best of Mediterranean dishes.

Lake Como
Lake Como, Lombardy region
The upside-down Y-shaped Lake Como in Northern Italy is famous for its luxury villas and resorts and stunning botanical gardens decorated with Mediterranean oleander flowers.

Milan Duomo
The Gothic Cathedral of St Mary of the Nativity during first Holy Mass, since the end of the lockdown in the chapel of Duomo in Milan, Italy.
Milan Duomo is the fifth-largest church in the world and the second largest in Italy.

St. Angelo Bridge
To experience the best Roman sunset head to the St Angelo Bridge over the Tiber river. The Vatican dome of St Peter's Basilica submerging in sunset hues is a sight to behold.

Tuscany's green landscape
Italy as a whole is dreamlike. However, if we have to choose, Tuscany is our pick for its diverse natural landscape and Renaissance art.

Venice's romance is never ending

The city's red roofed landscape

The city of canals and romance is all set for its sunrise hues and sunset gondola rides. To steal a 360-degree view of the city's red-roofed architecture get to the Campanile bell tower.
