International Jazz Music Festival | October 11 to 13
The festival, now in its third edition, will bring together legendary international jazz performers. Day 1 will see performances by the Dal Segno Trio (ft. LaToya Smith), and saxophonist Camille Thurman with the Darrell Green Trio; Day 2 has the Mandy Gaines Quartet and the Round Midnight Orchestra; and Day 3 features the Yuval Cohen Sextet and the Mingus Dynasty Quinet. It’s an exceedingly rare opportunity to witness some of the best in the genre.

Marwar Festival | October 12 to 13

A romantic, city-wide celebration of Marwar’s heritage and the Rajputana spirit. Performers include troupes of folk vocalists, instrumentalists, ghoomar and kalbeliya dancers, and locals are decked up in all their finery. It’s one of Jodhpur’s grandest celebrations. Majuli Music Festival 2019 | November 15 to 17
Meant to be a flagship festival for the island, the event seeks to conserve and promote the unique music, art, culture and ecological diversity of Majuli, the world’s largest river island.Where: Jengraimukh Smart Town, Bor Pamua 1, Majuli, Assam. Magnetic Fields Festival | December 13 to 15
One of India’s best-known celebrations of contemporary music and art will enter its seventh year in 2019. Enjoy live performances, local delicacies, unique tenting packages and the grandeur of a battle-hardened palace-turned-hotel.

Off Beat Music Festival | October 3 to 5
A citywide music festival showcasing Nevada’s growing music scene, plus performances from regional and national artists. We personally don’t recognise a single name from the lineup, but given the festival’s unique indie branding and reputation, it sounds like a whole lot of fun and discovery.

Stockholm Jazz Festival | October 11 to 20
Sweden’s biggest jazz festival enters its 39th year with performances spread across 60 venues in the city. Featuring orchestras, guitarists, soloists, dance crews and performance art, it’s one of the formidable events in European music.

One Love Music Festival and Wroclaw Hip Hop Festival | November 23
This is one of Europe’s largest music festivals. Two separate events are spread over the same weekend at the modernist Centennial Hall, and the combined genres on offer include reggae, alternative, drum & bass, dancehall, ska, soul, breakbeat and world music.

Amsterdam Dance Event | October 16
A mega-conference and festival for the entire spectrum of electronic music, the Amsterdam Dance Event has 1000 shows spread across 200 venues. Industrial settings, educational sessions, impeccable sets and world-class musicians make this an unmissable event.

Cork Jazz Festival | October 24 to 28
An annual event in south-west Ireland, the festival draws over 1,000 jazz musicians and an ever-growing entourage of fans 'across the entire jazz spectrum’. Down these smooth tunes with a pint of Guinness—the brand is the official sponsor of the event. You can view the lineup here.
