Knives Out 2 is out and has been a huge success with audiences. Cosy crime coupled with a dose of humour has always been a hit. From detectives solving a murder on board a transcontinental luxury train to murders set in dysfunctional fictional holiday resorts, there has been an uptick in literary crime fiction. Alongside that trend, murder mystery weekends are also seeing an increase with packages selling out. There are now specially curated and designed murder scenarios that travellers can be a part of. For instance, in May 2022, people had signed up for the "Mystery of the Blue Train", an immersive Agatha Christie-style whodunnit experience which took place on the actual Orient-Express train.
If you are ever in the mood to solve a murder mystery yourself, there are plenty of elaboratey staged holidays to travel for.
