We’d all collectively agree that Sunday snooze is the best. After toiling for straight up a week, nothing gets better than a laidback Sunday. And it is top notch if you couple it with a lavish meal spread, preferably a brunch with a side of the bubbly. Setting the tone right for a Sunday is Annamaya’s Artisan Brunch. We got a chance to savour this indulgent meal at the European food hall at Andaz in Aerocity. While there might be 401 reasons to fall in love with Delhi, according to Andaz, we just needed four to reminisce their lovely Sunday spread:

Decor and Interiors 
The live bar against the tinted glass
Spanning over a large area in the hotel complex, it’s hard to miss AnnaMaya because of the yellow, orange and green tinted glass covering a side of the facade. If, like us, you choose to sit right at beginning you’ll be able to spot the live bar against the tinted glass, making for the perfect ‘gram-worthy shot. We were lured into the European food hall’s charm, right at entry, which features their grand dessert section (more about it later).

Lavish Spread
The kebabs and paneer tikka are to die for
The Artisan Brunch is a lavish spread catering to unique flavours while putting up a diverse menu. Every Sunday, each item is freshly prepared by chefs under the thoughtfully curated menu by Executive Chef Vikram Ganpule. The expansive menu includes healthy breakfast bowls, farm-to-table recipes, organic dishes, all-time favourite Sunday specials and bottomless desserts. We can vouch for the kebabs, paneer tikka and definitely the biryani. We also highly recommend the herb polenta linguine. While the savoury items may seem endless, it its the desserts that steal the show. We had a selection red velvet and chocolate cake slices paired with sour candies. For those with an extra sweet tooth should give their ice-creams a shot too. 

Vocal for Local
All food items are prepared from locally sourced ingredients
Perhaps the best thing about a meal at AnnaMaya is that all delicacies are made from ingredients that are sourced from local artisans and partner farms around the country. Their focus is on using hyperlocal ingredients with their current business module being socially relevant to help communities and their respective environments within India. One can cherish the fusion between familiar homegrown flavours with dishes from across the globe. Immersive Experience
While here, it is not just about the meal rather the over all experience and the laidback ambience, well-suited for a Sunday meal. AnnaMaya also has an immersive experience counter where in one can engage in various activities, including craft pop-ups. The ones who love to cherish a meal with some melodies are in for a treat with their latest addition—live music. 

The desserts are the highlight of the meal

Keeping in the current pandemic, AnnaMaya also engages in the highest safety practices and conforms to all SOPs, including temperature checks, proper sanitisation and socially distant seating arrangements.
