The single will be played by these prolific artists on an assortment of household items as they themselves stay indoors in self-isolation. The track will be put together and produced by Fraiser T. Smith, whose illustrious career has seen him work with the likes of Adele, Stormzy, and Sam Smith.
Speaking to The Guardian, Smith said that the intention behind the performance with pots and pans is to “honour the brilliance and honesty of the artists and song.” The choice of song is especially apt given the social distancing people are being forced to practice, as the chorus provides much needed affirmation that, “It’s times like these we learn to live again.”
