Located in Sangam Courtyard in RK Puram, Dhansoo Cafe is hard to miss - your nose will guide you towards the aroma, warm lighting, and contemporary vibes. We had a dekko and were floored. There's a lot we would go back for!

WHAT WE LOVED AND WHY

Ambience and Design
The modern and chic design of the cafe was an added bonus

The first thing that struck us was the minimal yet chic architecture and design. The cafe can easily transform from a ‘quiet Sunday brunch’ kind of place to a ‘Saturday night drinking with buddies’ place. Adding to our overall culinary experience was the setting, keeping in mind the concept of personal space. A shout out to the comfortable and quirky chairs, and the marble spiral staircase running through the restaurant.

Culinary Experience and Service
The menu brings to the table diverse combinations. The well cultivated flavours cooked to perfection, definitely took our Sunday brunch a few notches higher. Chef Aashish was at hand to give us insights into what was being served. The restaurant was more than happy to accommodate any special requirements. The courteous staff, ready with advice and suggestions made our overall experience extremely smooth.

Food and Drinks
The Japani samosa with tangy channa

You will be spoilt for choice here - beginning with the starters. We loved the Japani samosa which was served with tangy chhole on the side, and had the ideal balance of crispy and soft. We can vouch for their Barbeque Grilled Chicken - it was cooked supremely well and the taste was beyond our expectations. A special mention to the Moth Kachori and Podi Idli - a modern take on traditional recipes. Another dish that got a big cheer was the Grilled Tofu With Truffle. The melt-in-your mouth soft tofu was the highlight, and a perfect accompaniment was the Japanese sticky rice. The sangria aligned perfectly with our food choices.

WE WOULD GO BACK FOR
Delhi belly dessert

The desserts for sure! A contemporary and successful rendition of our good old favourites, the desserts complimented our meal perfectly. Delhi Belly, as the name suggests, is inspired from the winter favourite daulat ki chaat along with almond halwa quiche and a sprinkle of cardamom and sugar. We would totally add the Cinnamon Tiramisu to our must-have list - the twist of cinnamon made this our personal favourite. We would also head back for the Minty Cold Coffee which will make you forget the traditional version in a jiffy.
