Within close vicinity of Kalimpong, Lava and Loleygaon are quaint mountains blanketed by a dense cover of coniferous and cypress trees. The Hanging Bridge, Neora Valley National Park and various monasteries are some of the indulgences here.

If you are troubled by the constant conundrum and noise in the city, Matheran is your ideal getaway. A very well preserved colonial architecture in the lap of hills, Matheran is just an hour’s drive from Mumbai. The best part here? Motor vehicles are banned here, hence your purpose of a peaceful vacation is solved.

The Niligiris form a part of the Western Ghats and lie in Tamil Nadu. A home to biodiversity and spellbinding mountain ranges, one can never not think of visiting the Nilgiris once more. The narrow valleys, rivers and waterfalls flowing through the valley are a sight to behold.

When traveling between Jodhpur and Udaipur, make sure you take the time to stop at the Ranakpur Jain Temple along the way! This incredible place is one of the most beautiful of all the Jain temples I visited in India. Not only is it huge, it is also incredibly detailed inside with superb carvings on every surface. It’s a great way to break up a long drive! . . . #jaintemple #ranakpur #incredibleindia #incredibleindiaofficial #rajasthan #rajasthan_tourism #rajasthan_diaries #rajasthandiaries #rangeelorajasthan #indialove #india_everyday #india_gram #india_ig #indiaclicks #india_undiscovered #indiatourism #indiatravelgram #travelrealindia #wearetravelgirls #sheisnotlost #sidewalkerdaily #iamtb #udaipur

If you like to get lost in the magnificence of palaces and marvel over architecture, Ranakpur is where you should be headed. Lying between Jodhpur and Jaipur, this small town nestles among the Aravalli Ranges. The vibrant culture of Rajasthan is also on the platter here.

An underground network of caves in Mawsmai is gravely mysterious and extremely adventurous. A small trek through the forest leads to the entrance of the cave and what lies ahead is for the explorer in you.
