India’s most prestigious award ceremony, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022 is nearing and like every year, this year too the grand event is expected to be full of elite, big wins and memorable moments. But before that day dawns, on January 15, a press conference was held in Mumbai to give a head-start to the awards this year. DPIFF Awards 2022 will be held on February 20 and streamed live on ZEE5 from 7PM onwards. The occasion will celebrate the grandeur of Indian Cinema and commemorate 75 years of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav). The award ceremony has set the benchmark by honoring three broad segments of the Indian Entertain-ment Industries under one roof.

Miss Universe Judge Urvashi Rautela, Annu Kapoor, Pragya Kapoor and Mayor of Mumbai – BMC, Smt. Kishori Pednekar, Presidential Gallantry Sena Medal Awardee Col. Tushar Joshi were the guest of honour at the press conference. The very illustrious Shri Subhash Ghai joined the press conference virtually and shared some unknown facts about Dadasaheb Phalke Ji. 

Later joined the esteemed partners of the event from the Krishna Kunj Productions, a Hyderabad based organisation which was established in 2016. A one stop place for In-Film Production, Brands, Artists & Event Management solutions. The organisation is accredited several times for their works done for various state governments across India. The Organisation is also the in-house a partner for Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival & International Tourism Festival.

During the Press Conference, Founder of Krishna Kunj Productions, Mr. Vatsal Joshi said “Films & Tourism are interconnected with each other and its an honour for my organisation to be the in-house partner of India’s most prestigious award ceremony. It’s the only platform I see where the Indian Art, Culture & Tourism is promoted together at a grand level. DPIFF theme on Celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav at 75 years of Independence will make this event a memorable one.”
 
The evening was hosted by Rohit Bose Roy, who was recently seen in Mumbai Saga.
