Creating the right backdrop is essential for every piece of art. He says, "There is an unspoken rule that for a movie to be good, it must have good and effective sets or backgrounds. Can you watch a film with a pale and unembellished background? Absolutely not! While we make extremely minimal efforts to appreciate those sets and backgrounds, it is a cardinal sin to ignore the pivotal role of production design in cinema. Sharing the same mind is Sidhant Malhotra! This young talent has worked as an art director and production designer on multiple films, series, and ad films.

Creating the right backdrop is essential for every piece of art. He says, "There is an unspoken rule that for a movie to be good, it must have good and effective sets or backgrounds. This art form exists in order to create the perfect kaleidoscope for directors and actors to transport audiences into their fantasy world."

Sidhant Malhotra, himself, has designed the sets for many series, including Janbaaz Hindustan Ke, Abhay Seasons 1 & 2, Akoori, Girls on Top, and more. He has also been a part of the team that assembled the set for commercials for many leading brands like Samsung, RBI ads featuring Amitabh Bachchan, etc.

Adding further to the importance of a set, Sidhant Malhotra said, "A set is added so that the audience finds the story more genuine and can relate better. While you may not be bothered by the elements like a watch, frame, plants, books, etc. added to the background, their absence might create a strong discomfort. Whether it is an hour-long movie or a minute-long advertisement, the right background is necessary for all."

It's time that we take steps to appreciate the efforts of all the talents associated with the entertainment industry. Sidhant Malhotra was recently celebrating the success of the series Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke, on which he has worked as a production designer. He has also been a part of films like Malang: Unleash the Madness (2020), Barot House (2019), and 200 Halla Ho. The artist has many projects looming over the horizon, and we wish him good luck with the same.
