In this Keto F1 review we assess just how effective the supplement is at getting the most from a Keto diet and alleviating the negative symptoms associated with it. Read on to find out how we got on it with it…

Ketosis is one of the greatest weight loss diets out there. It is pretty much tailor made for using up excess body fat whilst also keeping you energized, clear headed, and athletic.

However, a ketogenic diet can be very hard to stick to. You may experience hunger pangs and symptoms of so called ‘keto flu’ – foggy headedness, lethargy, bad breath, nausea, cognitive impairment, digestive discomfort – especially in the early days as you bring your body into ketosis.

This is where keto supplements come into their own. They mitigate the symptoms of keto flu whilst allowing your body to get into ketosis faster, making the side effects in that initial period far less intense and making your long-term ketosis journey far more effective.

Our Quick Verdict

Keto F1 is amongst the best keto supplements on the market. However, in our testing and when looking at Ket F1 reviews online and comparing them to Keto Charge - there is a clear winner - and it is Keto Charge.

For both our own reviewer and those we have scoured online, Keto Charge offers the most effective means to assist ketosis and beat the nasty side effects associated with Keto Flu.

About Keto F1

Keto F1 is designed to help you into ketosis. Ketosis serves many functions, including balancing blood sugar and bringing about a greater sense of wellbeing. It is also commonly used for weight loss. Whatever the benefits that you are looking to gain from running a ketogenic diet, keto supplements like Keto F1 can potentially help.

Ketosis is something of a metabolic state. Your body goes into it when it is near enough starved of carbohydrates. A typical ketogenic diet will see you eating around 50 g of carbs or fewer each day. This is around a quarter or less of what most eating plans advise. It can be incredibly hard to do.

The main benefit is that this stops your body from using glycogen, or stored sugar, as its fuel source – or at least as its main fuel source.

Instead of using glycogen for energy, your body will begin to rely on ketones instead. These are made from fat – they are created out of both dietary and stored fat. From a weight loss perspective, this means that your body fat will begin to disappear as your body metabolizes it, therefore obviously really aiding your goals.

You will likely run into some issues, though, especially during the early days. The first few weeks in particular can be pretty rough. As above, there are several side effects to look out for. These are most common during those initial days, but can return or even be longer lasting if you don’t supplement well.

First of all, your body is designed to run on carbs. It wants them, the simpler and higher quantity the better. Our diets – our cultures – are geared towards heavy carb consumption. It will therefore be hard enough to stay away from them. This will only be compounded by the effects that going into ketosis can have on you.

These effects can range from uncomfortable to drastic. On the more uncomfortable side of things, you may experience bad breath, faint nausea, and dizziness. This nausea and dizziness can get worse, however – they can both get quite drastic. You’ll also likely experience a low mood, or mood swings, fatigue, and muscular weakness. Disorientation and light-headedness can be common, as can brain fog.

These will all tumble in on you as you detox from carbs and enter ketosis. However, broadly speaking, these effects will diminish as you get further into ketosis. They will diminish the more quickly you can get into ketosis. This is where supplements like Keto F1 come into play.

Keto F1 contains some ingredients that are designed to get your body further into ketosis, faster, with far fewer side effects.

How Keto F1 Is Supposed To Work

Keto F1 contains exogenous ketones, feeding your body what it needs to keep you energized and clear headed as your body adapts to creating its own ketones as an energy source. Often, as you starve your body of glycogen, it will take a little while to begin creating ketones. This will leave you with no energy source, which is in large part where keto flu comes from. By supplying you with all the ketones your body needs, or at least a lot of them, Keto F1 attempts to bridge this gap.

Your energy levels shouldn’t dip if you’re taking them. Your cognitive function shouldn’t suffer too badly.

It doesn’t end there, though. Keto F1 will help you get into ketosis faster and will bridge that gap. This is what exogenous ketones do. However, it also contains several ingredients that will further mitigate the side effects of ketosis whilst promoting its benefits (see below). You’re then not just avoiding the negatives, but you’re also bolstering the positives.

It’s quick and easy to take, as you’ll see below, and should do everything it claims to do admirably. All in all, it should make your journey into ketosis that much easier and more effective.

That being said, we think there is an alternative that does the job even better - more on that shortly.

Keto F1 Ingredients

First on the list is the main event – beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB salts or exogenous ketones).

BHB is a dietary supplement that plenty of ketogenic dieters use. It is made up of stable mineral salts. It’s also a completely naturally occurring metabolite that is created during the digestion and metabolization of fat.

Obviously, with a ketogenic diet, we are looking to put your body into ketosis. We want it to create and use ketones made from fat instead of relying on glucose, or carbs.

We can think of ketones being to fat what glucose is to carbohydrates (and, indeed, what amino acids are to proteins). They are simply energy molecules made from fat. And BHB is a big one, an energy dense molecule that your body can use as energy during low carbohydrate intake. It will fuel your brain, muscles, and heart during ketosis.

This is what I was talking about above – this is what will bridge that gap as you fast from carbohydrates and enter ketosis. If there was nothing else in Keto F1’s formula but BHB then it should work well.

Happily, though, there is more to Keto F1 than simply BHB. In fact, there are three more key ingredients that, whilst being less important that BHB, will still go some way to improving your overall wellbeing and making the most of a ketogenic diet whilst mitigating the effects of keto flu.

The first of these is cedar apple extract. It is here more as a weight loss aid than as a way to ramp up ketosis in itself. It is known for inhibiting the development of body fat. Combined with ketosis, during which your body will be burning through plenty of pre-existing body fat, this should help you to achieve a leaner, healthier physique.

Forskolin plays a similar role. It is aimed more at weight loss than ketosis per se. It should lead to appetite suppression and fewer hunger pangs. Again, this should help you to lose body fat. It should also help you to get through the carbohydrate cravings that can plague a keto dieter’s life.

Finally, we have guarana oil, an incredibly clever inclusion. As we have seen, keto flu has a cognitive element to it. It can lead to brain fog, a lack of clarity and focus, and low mood and energy. Guarana oil should help to undo this. It has nootropic capabilities – it should improve cognition and overall cognitive performance.

All told, these ingredients should enhance and complement your ketogenic diet very nicely. They are geared more towards weight loss than anything else. However, as this is one of the main reasons that people often turn to ketogenic dieting, it’s no bad thing. Keto F1 definitely has a solid place in the market - even if it’s not the best overall supplement.

Does Keto F1 Work?

This is slightly too simplistic a question to answer with a cursory yes or no (though yes, it does work – just with some major caveats in place).

Please note that Keto F1 will not cause you to lose weight. It will not put you into ketosis by itself. It is a supplement. As such, it should supplement an already solid eating and lifestyle regime. You should have a ketogenic diet in place when taking them if you want to see any effects.

Though there is plenty of detail than can and should go into your diet to optimize your health and wellbeing, at its simplest, a keto diet is simply a reliance on fat and, to a lesser extent, protein, over carbohydrates. You will need to eat around 50 g of carbohydrates or fewer per day, with the rest of your calories coming from fat and protein. This will cause your body to enter ketosis after a week or so.

With this in place, Keto F1 begins to make a lot of sense. As above, it won’t cause you to go into ketosis. It will aid your transition into it.

This was certainly my experience of it. I’m not generally one for a ketogenic diet. I’ve run them in the past when I’ve had to for product reviews, but generally I find them uncomfortable without being too useful. However, I took Keto F1 as instructed this time, threw out all the bread and fruit in my house, and sat down to a few weeks of omelettes and avocados.

The cravings didn’t disappear. Far from it. However, they were lighter than they would usually be. It was a hankering – present, uncomfortable, but ignorable. They didn’t dominate me and it wasn’t the physical sensation it usually is. My energy levels were also pretty decent. There was no dip at the beginning, no crash a few hours after food as I might usually experience. I had enough to get done what I needed without being any the worse for wear, including daily yoga practice and plenty of walking.

The main difference was in the brain fog, however. This usually kills me. It’s what ultimately made me decide not to run ketogenic diets in general. It’s like a cloud is pulled over my head. I can’t think straight, can’t find the words I need (a big deal for a professional writer), and can’t remember the simplest of things when the keto flu kicks in.

I can’t say there was no brain fog with Keto F1 - but it was definitely less than normal. I can happily chalk this up to the guarana oil working in concert with the BHB. I was relatively clear headed and energized, with clarity, good recall, and the wherewithal to live my life as I wanted to.

I woke up every morning with energy and ready for the day, which I have only ever done before on a ketogenic diet when taking one other supplement - Keto Charge.

I was also assured that my breath didn’t smell. That’s got to be a good thing.

All in all, Keto F1 works as advertised. It didn’t cause me to lose weight. The ketogenic diet I followed did. But it allowed me to follow the ketogenic diet without suffering all of the usual debilitating side effects.

Keto F1 Alternatives

As I alluded to just now, Keto F1 is not without its competition - and as good as it is, I still find Keto Charge to be much more efficient at ridding me of all negative Keto side effects.

Being part of the Bauer Nutrition family gives you an idea of how good it should be - and it lives up to their reputation. With a proprietary blend made up for three different types of Beta Hydroxybutyrate, it has a whopping 800mg per serving which just seems to work much better for me.

The Keto F1 reviews online are pretty hit and miss, which indicates that it works for some and not so well for others, whereas the Keto Charge reviews are pretty unanimous.

It is a little more expensive, but they do offer a 60 day money back guarantee - and if it works better than Keto F1 (which it did for me) then it’s worth the extra.

Evidence to support Keto F1

There is a lot of evidence underpinning BHB’s use in facilitating ketosis. Most recently, a 2021 paper from Stefan et al showed that supplementing with exogenous beta-hydroxybutyrate salts may induce a state of temporary ketosis without any undesirable side effects.

In fact, it showed that 90 days of BHB salts can be perfectly healthy and beneficial in healthy adults and adolescents. In bringing about mild ketosis without any kind of side effect, it should produce a source of energy to easily supplant glucose. Running it in tandem with a ketogenic diet will allow for all the energy you need in glucose’s stead.

Keto F1 is also a very well backed supplement in and of itself. It rests on strong clinical data as well as plenty of positive user testimonial. The constituent ingredients aside from BHB salts have all been well tested and found to be safe and effective.

Verdict

Keto F1 is a good supplement. It’s well worth the money you pay for it. Though it’s a bit of a simple recipe, it has everything you need. I’ve also seen far simpler recipes in ketosis supplements – some go for a couple of exogenous ketone sources and call it a day.

They are still beneficial. BHB is beneficial. It’s something of a must for anybody looking to take ketosis seriously.

Keto F1 provides you with a solid dose of BHB, more than enough to give you the energy you need whilst cutting out the keto flu, or at least mitigating the worst of it.

The science backs this up. My own user experience backs this up. The addition of a few extra ingredients simply make it more efficient and effective – the guarana oil will keep your head clear as everything else further aids your weight loss.

I would recommend Keto F1 to anybody who wants to keep their journey into ketosis manageable, effective, and doable. It certainly changed things up for m, however for anyone wanting the best of the best then I’d suggest Keto Charge .
