Anything that makes your heart race is probably worth doing. For many bikers, riding a motorcycle is not just a hobby or pass time, it’s a passion. All they desire in life is to ride their motorcycle around the globe. They have a strong desire to ride, which will enable them to complete seemingly unattainable distances, routes, and terrains.

One such passionate being is Harsh Pahwa, who challenged himself riding to upper Mustang with his Kawasaki Z900. Upper Mustang is part of Mustang district in Nepal. The Upper Mustang was a restricted kingdom and demilitarised area until 1992 which makes it one of the most preserved regions in the world. A majority of the population still speaks traditional Tibetic languages. For entering into upper mustang, one has to pay 500 dollars and should be acquitted by a local guide. There are multiple checkpoints too.

There was slush, loose rocks on the road which made the life of rider harder. Harsh had to be more careful and the chances on hitting the underbody of his bike on the so called road was very high. Multiple times, the bike got plunged and required more assistance.

Despite all the hardships, Harsh call this journey as an opportunity and blessing bestowed upon him. An opportunity to see and experience the beauty of life.
