Violin Maestro Subramaniam Accused of Molestation

Violin maestro L Subramaniam has been accused of sexual harassment by his 26-year-old maid after he filed a theft complaint against her but the musician has denied the charge.

City police today said they had a received a complaint of sexual harassment against Subramaniam from a little-known organisation Dalit Rakshana Vedike on behalf of the maid Bhagya, against whom a theft case has been registered.

According to police, a complaint was received and entered under the miscellaneous crime category.

Subramaniam has denied the sexual harassment charge and said he will fight it out.

Bhagya had written a letter and gave it to the organisation which handed over a photo copy and a covering letter to the police station.

The veracity of the complaint was being probed.

Subramaniam's family had some days ago lodged a complaint against the maid alleging she had stolen 5000 Euros, Rs 5,500, a gold chain and some other valuables from their house here.
