The condition of former BJP leader Jaswant Singh, who suffered head injuries, remains grave, a Defence Ministry spokesperson said today.
According to him, Singh's condition remains grave though his vitals are stable.
The former Defence Minister is still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Army Research and Referral Hospital here and is under constant watch, the spokesperson said.
The 76-year-old former Defence Minister, who is in coma, was admitted to the hospital at around 0100 hours on Friday and operated upon for the head injury after he fell down and continues to be on life support.
Singh, who has also served as External Affairs and Finance Minister during the previous NDA regime, was expelled from BJP early this year after he decided to contest Lok Sabha polls from Barmer in Rajasthan as an Independent after being denied a party ticket.
