Cong Conspiring to Jail Me: Modi
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who has come under the Supreme Court scanner on a complaint relating to post-Godhra killing, today accused the Congress of hatching a conspiracy to send him to jail.

Addressing an election rally here, Modi said, "Union minister Kapil Sibal had given a threat that if I did not stop talking against Congress I would end up in jail."

"Just after 15 days, the order has come from the Supreme Court. What does this mean?. This is a Congress conspiracy to send me behind bars," the Gujarat CM claimed while reacting to the Apex court's order on Monday.

Modi said he was not afraid of going behind bars for the people of the land. "After three months I might be in jail. But people of Gujarat should remember one thing, that Modi will live for Gujarat and die for Gujarat."

He said on the one hand, Quattrocchi, a "foreign relative" of Sonia has been given a clean chit by the CBI. "Everybody knows who controls CBI. On the other hand conspiracy is hatched to send me to jail".

The SC on Monday ordered a probe within three months into a complaint that Modi, his cabinet colleagues, police officials and senior bureaucrats aided and abetted post-Godhra killings.

The two-judge bench ordered the probe by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on a complaint made by Jakia Nasim Ahesan, wife of former Congress MP Ehsan Jafri who was killed by rioters.
