Reacting to ATP chief Chris Kermode's "glorified exhibition" remark on the inaugural International Tennis Premier League (IPTL), league founder Mahesh Bhupathi has said that "everyone is entitled to their opinion and we are going to put on a world class show".
"We are going to put on a show that the world is going to watch in a few weeks," said Bhupathi of the league beginning Nov 28 in Philippines.
Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Andy Murray will bee seen in action alongside former greats Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi.
"The buzz (about IPTL) is very exciting. Roger, Pete Novak makes a heavy duty lineup so we are looking forward to it. It’s another 60 days to go," Bhupathi added.
