New Delhi, Jul 16 Refined soya oil prices rose by 0.07 per cent to Rs 735.5 per 10 kg in futures trade Tuesday as speculators created fresh positions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), refined soya oil contracts for August delivery went up by 5 paisa, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 735.5 per 10 kg with an open interest of 39,980 lots.

Similarly, refined soya oil contracts for September delivery traded higher by 55 paisa, or 0.08 per cent, at Rs 731.5 per 10 kg in 10,740 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions built up by traders against restricted arrivals from growing regions mainly led to rise in refined soya oil prices. ADI RUJ MR
