Copper futures slide on soft demand
New Delhi, Apr 24 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell 0.6 per cent to Rs 400.90 per kg as speculators reduced their exposure due to weak spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery traded lower by Rs 2.40, or 0.6 per cent, at Rs 400.90 per kg in a business turnover of 2,282 lots.

Similarly, copper contracts for June delivery fell Rs 4.85, or 1.19 per cent, to Rs 403.60 per kg in a business turnover of 14 lots.

Traders attributed the fall in copper prices mainly to the subdued demand in spot market. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
