Jaipur, May 31 (PTI) Two youths drowned while bathing in a river in Malakhera area of Rajasthan's Alwar district today.

Rajendra Meena and Banti Saini, both in early 20s, drowned when they stepped into nearly 15-feet deep waters while taking a bath in the river, investigating officer Vinod Yadav said.

He said the bodies were fished out with the help of villagers and were later handed over to family members without conducting post mortem.

A case under section 174 of CrPc has been registered, Yadav said.
