Mumbai Reports 4 New Covid-19 Cases, Zero Death; Active Tally At 12

Mumbai logged four new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the overall tally to 11,55,252, while no fresh death linked to the infection was registered in the metropolis, the local civic body said.

The death toll remained unchanged at 19,747, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

On Monday, the financial capital reported one Covid-19 case, but zero fatalities.

According to a BMC bulletin, there was no fresh addition to the overall recovery count of 11,35,493 and the city has 12 active coronavirus cases.

The city's coronavirus recovery rate stood at 98.3 per cent, while the case doubling rate was  6,82,379 days, the bulletin said.

As many as 2,466 swab samples were tested since the previous day, taking their total number to 1,87,10,014, said the BMC.

The growth rate of Covid-19 cases in Mumbai between January 24 and 30 was 0.0001 per cent, it added.
